Eugene E. Leimkuhler Jr.

Eugene E. Leimkuhler, Jr., age 83, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2014. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carmellia Marie (Pisciotta) Leimkuhler, his parents, Eugene and Edna Leimkuhler, and his siblings, Irene Stretzinter, Anna, Claudia, and Ruth Leimkuhler. Loving father of Glen Leimkuhler (Karen), Kenneth Leimkuhler (Linda) and Gwendolyn Leimkuhler. Step father of Anna Davis (Don), Josephine Calligaro, Marian Angle and the late Tony Pisciotta. Brother of Joyce Liquor and Henry Leimkuhler. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 14 step great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Eugene was a dedicated art teacher for Delgado Community College and a member of Perfect Union No. 1 F.& A.M. 1309 Masonic Temple. He retired from Delta Airlines after many years of service.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will be Garden of Memories Cemetery.
