Eugenie Beaud Loustaunau

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eugenie Beaud Loustaunau, who departed this life on August 20, 2025 at her home. Born on October 5, 1936 in New Orleans. She was the daughter of the late Reine and Eugene Loustaunau.

Eugenie is survived by her sisters-in- law Donna Loustaunau and Sue Loustaunau, her nieces and nephew Shaun Loustaunau Wheat (Patrick), Dawn Loustaunau Held, and Victor Loustaunau (Amy); her great nephews Joshua Wheat (Jazmine), Leon and Charles Loustaunau, her niece Sarah Wheat, and one great great nephew Viktor. Eugenie was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Emile Loustaunau and Leon Loustaunau.

A memorial visitation for Eugenie will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006. A memorial mass will occur Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006. A burial following services will occur Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 12:30 PM at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, 3421 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70119.
