Eva Jean Miller Dewey

Eva Jean Miller Dewey, a native of Tanner in Gilmer County West Virginia, long time resident of the New Orleans area, and a former employee of Wembley Tie, B. Bennett Mfg. Co., Torino Belts, and Holy Name of Jesus School, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. She was 91 ½ years old. She is the daughter of Edna Merle Southall Miller Coffman and Wayne Watson Miller of Gilmer County, West Virginia; loving mother of Barbara Ann Dewey Massarini and Mother-in-law to Frederick Walter Massarini; Grandmother of Jennifer Lynne Massarini and Frederick Walter Massarini Jr, who are married respectively to James D. White Jr. and Kristin Elizabeth Ceruti. She is Great Grandmother to Eva Lynne White. She is Sister to the predeceased Susan Kathleen Miller Gordon and Lucille Miller Himel; and survived by her Sisters, Margaret Ann Miller Goodwin and Betty June Miller Walker. Also survived by many friends and relatives who are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA, at 11:00 AM on Friday the 26th of August, 2016. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM for immediate family with visitation for friends starting at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Garden of Memories.
