Fay Ann Taffaro Pike

Fay Ann Taffaro Pike received her wings on, February 14, 2022 at the age of 81. Fay was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Metairie, Louisiana. She was a 1959 graduate of Redemptorist High School. Fay was born December 18, 1940, to the late Anthony J. Taffaro and Vivian Braud Taffaro. Fay is proceeded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert H. Pike, Jr. and her brother, Gary F. Taffaro and her granddaughter, Jessica Laura Morgan.

Fay is survived by her brother Chief Craig A. Taffaro (Judy) and her late brother Gary F. Taffaro’s wife, Zelma.

Fay was the loving mother to Lisa Pike Morgan (Johnny), Elizabeth Pike Legendre (Todd), and Robert Anthony Pike (Marla). Fay was the grandmother of Patricia Morgan Satori (John), Kristina Bernardino (Nuno), Rachael Morgan (Chad), Timothy Morgan (Terri), Blake Pike (Laurie), Brandon Pike (Alyssa), Brett Pike, Zachary Legendre. She also had 14 great grandchildren.

The Family would like to give a special thanks to Rachael Morgan and Chad Battaglia for their amazing care, love and respect they gave to her. Also, to her amazing caretakers, Bretta Walker and Juanita Jones, for their constant care, love and compassion.

Fay was a Band Majorette at Redemptorist and voted Most Friendliest, her senior year of high school. She was an outstanding, award winning Avon sales person for over 40 years and also worked at C’s Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician for over 15 years. She loved her time spent with her cousins in St. Amant and her Tuesday night card games with her friends of over 50 years. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother who was cherished by all. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, February 18, 2022 beginning at 9:30 AM at New Life Tabernacle, 6017 West Airline Drive, Metairie, LA followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon.
