Fay,

     I can not believe you are gone but never gone from our hearts and mind.  I believe you have gone home, with Dutch sitting in his chair waiting for you, with his arms wide open, hugging and kissing you. You were always a good person, willing to help anybody that needed it. 
     When I think about my childhood, you were a big part of it. One memory I will never forget was our Yahtzee games. I remember the cup we shook the dice in was so worn out that it was covered in tape. It had so much tape that you could not see the cup. I also remember our walks down to the corner store, by the house, to buy soft drinks or ice cream.
     There are so many good memories, that I have about you. I am glad you saw me grow up, become a man, and then a father. I am also,  glad my children were able to know you and the good person you are.
     You will always be loved, remembered, and never forgotten. I believe, in my heart, we will meet again. I will miss you, NANNY.

Nanny,
From as far back as I can remember you have been a part of my life. I remember all the fun times I had with you and Dutch as a child. Harmonica sing alongs and "flip flop" fish Fridays in the back kitchen, card game nights, hiding change under the rug so I'd be so excited to find "treasure".... so many good memories. With all the love you always gave me and all the support you always offered, there was never a doubt in my mind that I was loved by you. I will always keep that love with me. 
The news was sudden and it's still hard to believe I can't talk to you anymore. But I'm comforted because I know you're with God and with the love of your life that you've missed so much. Maybe you can find out what Dutch put in his hamburgers now :) 
I miss you Nanny and I love you.

I still can't believe you are gone.  We have been knowing each other for so long and you have been more than a dear friend of mine. You have been my family.   I have so many wonderful memories of all the times we have spent together over the years.  We have been through hard times, sad times, losses, and disasters, but we have also have shared friendship, laughter, and so much memories to last a lifetime.   You have been a large part of my family and I will forever be grateful for the times we have spent together.   It is always hard to lose someone you love and you are loved.  You may be gone, but not forgotten.  God bless you my dear friend.

Fay, 
You were taken away so suddenly that it is hard to grasp it in my mind you are gone.  You have been in my life and my family for close to 50 years.  You and Dutch,  who have since passed away, became more than friends, but a close member of my family.  I have wonderful memories of you being there when times were hard, sad, but mostly memories of  joy and so much laughter.  I remember the vacations you and Dutch took with my parents.  I remember the times you spent with me when my children were sick.  I remember all the birthdays, weddings, and just get togethers we shared.   You were always there, to lend a hand or just for support.  You will be missed, but you will continue to live in all the wonderful memories you left behind.  I am blessed that God place such a sweet loving person into our family.  I pray that you are home, reunited with the love of your life, Dutch.  It is now time to rest.  Love you Fay.
