Florabelle B. Pizzolato, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Mrs. Pizzolato was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Michael V. Pizzolato Jr. Mother of Michael V. Pizzolato III (Julie A. Toups), Barry A. Pizzolato (Sheila H. Pizzolato), Connie P. Geisinger (Charlie J. Geisinger) and Robert C. Pizzolato Sr. (Diane S. Pizzolato). Grandmother of Michael V. Pizzolato IV, Robbie F. Pizzolato (Angel B. Pizzolato), Joseph Earl Pizzolato, Jessica P. Pineda (Oscar J. Pineda Sr.), Jaime P. Young (Will Young), Robert C. Pizzolato Jr., Rachel M. Pizzolato, John Toups and Melissa McMillian. Great grandmother of Michael V. Pizzolato V, Ava Joy Caillouet, Oscar J. Pineda Jr., Stella Pineda, Carson Young, Aubrie Toups, Presley Toups and Emma McMillian. Sister of Idele Lindberg. Preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Pizzolato was a loving wife and mother and was devoted to her home. She will be deeply missed. The family would like to thank the owners and staff of Fidelis Janice House, Passages Hospice and Lighthouse Med Pass for providing love, nurturing and support to our mother in the last months of her life. We will be eternally grateful to them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at First Baptist Church of Kenner, 1400 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on Monday morning, July 10, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment everyone is invited to a reception at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA.
