Florence Rose Hagmann

Florence Rose Coniglio Hagmann was a devoted wife and mother. Florence passed away at Metairie HealthCare Center on January 10, 2024, at the age of 85 years old. She was born at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 5, 1939 to Camille Anthony Coniglio and Angelina Macaluso Coniglio. Mrs. Hagmann did live in Marrero growing up. She was an only child. Florence attended West Jefferson High School and graduated in May 1957. Florence is the beloved wife of Henry Anthony Hagmann Jr. Loving mother of two daughters, Angelique Marie Hagmann and Patricia Michelle Hagmann. Also survived by her goddaughter Rosetta Danigole and other loving relatives and friends. She was a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 40 years. Florence owned and operated a small grocery store, Henry’s Superette on Iberville Street until 1983 before moving to Metairie. She also worked at Katie’s Restaurant and Mervyn’s Department Store until she retired in 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina. She was not just an amazing mother, but a best friend to her two daughters. She will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Jerome Church at 2402 33rd St, Kenner, LA 70065 on January 27, 2024, from 11 am to 12 pm. A Catholic Funeral Mass will follow after visitation at noon. A private family gathering will follow.
