Frances Heath Arceneaux

Frances Heath Arceneaux passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Robert “Bob” Arceneaux, Jr. and her brothers, Robert Heath and Terrell Heath. Frances is survived by her sister, Mary Alice Heath Lynch and her seven children and spouses: Robert Arceneaux III and Pam, Jeanne Houston and Brant, Mark Arceneaux and Tina, Janet Rome and Louie, Julie Edwards and Jerry, Michael Arceneaux and Katrina and Matthew Arceneaux and April. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Alice Heath. “Memere” was loved and admired by her 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She will be missed and remembered fondly by her loving family and many friends.

Frances was a gifted leader and servant as she gave of her time and talent in numerous organizations for most of her life. She was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church in Harahan. Frances enjoyed volunteering weekly at Children’s Hospital and The National WWII Museum.

Visitation will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie on Thursday July 18, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday, July 19, 2013 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 7100 Jefferson Hwy. in Harahan from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
