Gayle Sandra Patent

Gayle Karno Patent, age 71, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2011, at home surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife for 46 years to Albert Patent. Loving mother of David Patent, Debbie Patent Miller (Marc Miller), and Jill Patent. Adoring grandmother of Sophie Mae, Libbie Rose, and Sadie Bess Miller. Godmother to Marcus Davis. Daughter of the late David and Florence Karno and sister of the late Richard Karno. She worked as an Office Manager at Davis Contract Draperies for over 20 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at Congregation Gates of Prayer, 4000 West Esplanade Avenue, Metairie, LA, on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. and will be followed by a Celebration of her Life.
