George Remberto Cañarte, owner of The International Tailor, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the age of 76. Born in Manabi, Ecuador on August 1, 1936 to the late Noemi Flores and Humberto Cañarte. Beloved husband of Sonia Maria Cañarte for 49 years. Devoted father of Christian Cañarte Craven, Humberto Lionel Cañarte (Kimberly) and the late George Eugenio Cañarte. Cherished grandfather of Daniel Craven, Isabella Craven, Jessica Cañarte and Nicholas Cañarte. Also survived by a host of siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
