George R. Howe

George R. Howe, age 86, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2010. Beloved husband of Elrita S. Howe for 64 years. Loving father of George R. Howe, Jr., Susan Keller (Denis) and Ruth Alleman (Peter). Grandfather of William Keller (Heather), David Keller and Cheryl Alleman and Steven Alleman. He was a member of the St. Charles Lodge #445,F&AM, Square and Compass Lodge #417 F&AM and Encircler Chapter #191 OES. A native of Auburn, IL and a resident of Luling and most recently Broussard, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. Services will be celebrated in the Chapel of GARDEN OF MEMORIES FUNERAL HOME, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Shreveport, LA.
