George Edward Lowe

George E. Lowe, of Mandeville, LA, a retired Marathon Oil executive, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the age of 73. Mr. Lowe was born in Detroit, MI and lived in LA for many years. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Carron Lowe. Devoted father of four children: Dawn L. Sagaser (Chip), Sharon Lowe, George O. Lowe (Amanda) and Shannon L. Baker (Joe). Loving stepfather of Laurie Brignac (Rick), Stacy Dunham (Michael), J. Joseph Brignac (Chrissy), Julie Brignac, David Brignac (Angel) and Jacques Brignac (Tara). Papa of Jake, Samantha, Maja, Scarlett, Peter, Ashley, Kate, Michael, Kelly, Daniel, William, Dominic, Camille, Kasey, Claire and Jake. Great grandfather of Wesley and baby Gelpi. Son of the late George E. and Anita Smygen Lowe. Brother of Joan Nickrand, Robert Lowe, Janet Cates and Anita Gabos.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Wednesday, January 4, 2011 at 12:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. . Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery will be private.
