Our deepest sympathies in the loss of your parents. I remember them both as jovial people, always with a smile.

My aunt Gloria was beautiful woman. She chose to see the good in any situation and in any person around her.  I think Aunt Gloria didn't know how big an influence she had on those that knew her.  I am one of the lucky ones to be in a part of Aunt Gloria's family.  She had a very big impact on my life and how I live today.  This is curious because, I spent no more than 4-5 days around her my entire life.   Also, we were no closer physically than the distance between California and Louisiana.  
Her brother, my dad, always always spoke of her with warmth and very deep respect.  He loved his sister dearly!   Whenever I saw my dad and Aunt Gloria together, one thing was clear. It was as if to say….Stop everything, my sister is here and there's nothing more important right now!   Aunt Gloria left us a path to follow if we too wish to be kind, decent and loving persons.  Rest in Heaven Aunt Gloria. With love,

To all the Callaghan Girls: Charlene, Colleen, Connie and sis-in-law Chris:  My heart goes out to all of you.  Your Mother is one of the sweetest people I have ever known.(I remember when she stood in for Charlene as Queen of the Homecoming Court at Redemptorist)and a lovely Queen she was.  She will be sadly missed and I know your heart is breaking.  But to know that she is at Peace with our Lord, with no more suffering, and reunited with your Dad, I hope gives you some comfort. I know she is in a better place now free of the pain & suffering she, as well as you and your sisters,  have endured for the past several year battling the Alzheimer's/Dementia.  It's always hard to let go, especially a parent, but I'm sure she is comfortable enjoying good company and a “Cold One” with her best buddy Lambert and friends at the kitchen table just like the old days on Melpomene Street.

                I aologize that I will not be able to attend the services for your mom since I'm having some surgery on Friday and probably will still be out of action on Saturday but will say a special pray for Ms. Gloria.  Also, please offer my condolences to your sisters.
