Graciela Rosa Santos

In Cuba, she owned a beauty salon and a small clothing boutique. Throughout her life, Mrs. Santos nurtured a love for learning, which she passed on to her children. She had impeccable manners and always demonstrated concern for others. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading.

Chela, as she was known to friends, is survived by a daughter, Gladis E. Santosrosa; a son, Jorge L. Fanjul; and a granddaughter, Vivian V. Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Salustiano Ciro Santos; and her sister, Carmen R. Fanjul.

A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.
