Harry E. Eddlestone

Harry E. Eddlestone passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Alfaye Tassin Eddlestone. Father of Daniel Eddlestone, David Eddlestone and the late Samantha Gardner. Brother of Nathan Eddlestone. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Harry was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for over 40 years. He retired from IBM after 30 years, served Jefferson Parish School Board for 15 years and volunteered with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office as a reserve deputy.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral ceremony at 10:00 am on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
