Haydee Flores Bonilla

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clementina Alvarez and Manuel Flores; her sister, Melida Erazo; two brothers, Rigoberto Flores and Enrique Flores and her husband, Oscar Z. Bonilla.

She is survived by her sister, Alba Rosa; her children, Oscar Gregorio Bonilla (Kristy), Haydee Elizabeth Bonilla and Sergio Omar Bonilla (Marlene) and her grandchildren, Steven Bonilla, Luis Guardado and Michael Guardado.

Her life’s work was loving and caring for her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a dedicated grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, attending church and taking walks with her sister-in-law. Haydee will be remembered for her loving nature, her kind soul and willingness to help others, as well as her infectious laughter. She was a joy to be with and will be missed by many.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a Funeral Mass at 3:00 pm.
