Henry Vosbein

Henry Gerard Vosbein, age 79, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 7:45 pm. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Geraldine Holtz Vosbein, his beloved sister Patricia Mary Vosbein and brother in-law Larry Hull. Survived by daughters Margaret Garceau (Joseph), Carolyn Groner (David) and son Henry Vosbein (Francoise). Proud grandfather of Carolyn Monte, Madeleine Vosbein and Phillip Vosbein. Great grandfather of Fischer Monte. Brother of Gerri Hull. Uncle of Diane Porretto and Kim Diehl. Great uncle of Warren Farrell and Benjamin Diehl. Great-great uncle of Zane Farrell. He leaves behind his friends Al and Shirley Dureau, Sheryl Elam, Robert O’Hara and Larry Geiger.

Henry worked for A&P Bakery Warehouse and Fairgrounds Race Course for many years. In his pastime he enjoyed watching classic movies but most of all spending time with his family. His dry sense of humor will be sadly missed. Rest In Peace Daddy.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 9:00 am until 11:30 am. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Edward the Confessor church, 4901 W. Metairie Ave. at 12:00 pm with the interment to immediately follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
