Herman Jacob “Jack” Steiner passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2014 at age of 71. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna McCoy Steiner. Loving brother of MaryJane Trapani Daret and brother in law of Reno Jean Daret III. Jack is survived by his nephew, Reno Jean Daret IV and his niece, Leah Daret. Jack is also survived by his wife’s daughter, Heather McCoy Lambeth, who considered Jack as a father figure. He is preceded in death by his father, Jacob Steiner, his mother, Leah Daisybelle Geiling Steiner Trapani, and his step-father, Anthony Benedict Trapani. He was very loving and generous to all of his family and friends. He was an employee of Jefferson Parish for over 30 years, and his strong work ethic was admired by all.
