Hubert Michael Aucoin III

Hubert “Michael” Aucoin, III, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 22 years, Cynthia Rodriguez Aucoin. Michael was a beautiful man with an amazing joy for life, always smiling and loved being with the love of his life, Cindy.

In his early years he was taught by his dad the family business, Aucoin Hart jewelry store. He was retired from Aucoin Hart as well as Jefferson Parish Public Schools where he drove a school bus for 35 years.

He was the son of the late Hubert & Hazel Aucoin and preceded in death by his son, Hubert “Bert” Aucoin, IV. He leaves behind his brother Tommy Aucoin and sister-in-law Donna Aucoin, step –children Susan, Tammy, John , Beth and daughter Paula. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and his nephews Tommy and Ryan Aucoin.

Relatives, friends, and employees of Aucoin Hart and Jefferson Parish Public Schools are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 4921 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11:30 AM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Mass time. Inurnment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
