Humiyo “Doll” Noguchi Stretzinger, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 on Monday, December 2, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Humiyo was the devoted wife of the late James George Stretzinger. She was a proud mother to George Stretzinger (Patsy, deceased), Rosemary Peschlow (Anthony), Ralph Stretzinger (Suggie), Priscilla Schorr (Sam) and Kathleen Stretzinger (Ken Alpaugh). She was also a caring grandmother to Melissa Stretzinger-Pusch (Tim), Kevin Stretzinger, Sr. (Melinda), Stephen Peschlow (Erin), Stefanie Smith (Michael), Jessica Hoang (Nam), Krystn Stretzinger Charlie (BJ), Brian Peschlow and Channing Blakemore (Dalton Miller).

Humiyo was a proud great-grandmother to Kevin Jr., Bailey, Madelyn, Kaden, Mason, Mikayla, Glenn, Adam, Maddox, and Mackenzie.

Born in Kawaguchi, Saitama, Japan, Humiyo’s life was a beautiful testament to resilience and love. During WWII, she married her beloved husband, James George Stretzinger, and together they built a life filled with adventure and devotion. Humiyo found great joy in traveling and treasured every moment spent attending her grandchildren’s events. She also took immense pride in her work at Caffe’ Caffe’, where her dedication and warm spirit touched the lives of many. Her unwavering love and support created a strong foundation for her family, leaving behind cherished memories that will be passed down through generations.

Special thanks to Anvoi Hospice and Aspen Pharmacy for their compassionate care and support.

She is reunited with her husband, James and her parents, Makoto Noguchi and Riki Narita. Her family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate her extraordinary life.
