Inez Margaret Eagan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family members on November 14, 2014 at the age of 79. Inez was born in New Orleans on February 18, 1935. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and relocated to Franklinton, Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. She was preceded in death by her parents William Andrew Eagan, Sr and Phereby Rachel Shepard, and by her siblings William A. Eagan, Jr., John D. Eagan, Robert A. Eagan, Phereby S. Perniciaro, Kathleen J. Eagan and Gerald P. Eagan. She is survived by Patricia R. Norman of Eagle, Colorado and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. We will miss her laugh and generous spirit. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 9:30 AM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel located at 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
