He proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1975 to 1979. After his service, he embraced every aspect of the outdoors and found peace anywhere in nature.
Above everything, he devoted his life to his family and, even more so, his grandchildren. He never once missed an opportunity to spoil them and enjoy every second with them. His family was the center of his world.
He is survived by his two daughters, Robyn Giaccone (Bill) and Jessica Paretti (Stephen). He was also the proudest Papa to the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Savannah and Amelia Giaccone, and Reese and Harper Paretti. His love for his grandchildren extended far past blood relation through his extended family and friends; he was every bit a grandfather figure to many.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jack’s life on Tuesday, June 16th, from 1-5 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA.
Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on for years to come through stories shared about his adventurous love for life and family.
