

Jacqueline “Jackie” Elizabeth Ciuffi, Jackie passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the age of 88 yrs. She was a caring and energetic woman until the very end. She started in her early teens working in her stepfather’s dairy. Her adult years were spent in sales, winning awards selling Avon and Tupperware. She then went on to be one of the highest Olan Mills Photography sales people for 30 years. Along with these, she worked for Jefferson Parish as a Crossing Guard for Adams Middle School, and as a Poll Commissioner. She still made time for her many hobbies. She played volleyball at Lakeshore Playground for 60 yrs. Metairie Ridge Garden Club was her big interest the last 20 yrs. where she was Historian and won more Garden of the Month and Garden of the Year awards than any other member. She also, helped for over 20 yrs decorating Celebration in the Oaks. Her love of Country Dancing is where she met Jay. Making Christmas Goodies was a passion she wouldn’t give up and her “killer” fudge was desired by all. She also was a member of the EJGH Wellness Center. She and Jay also found time to delight the area with their extreme decorating at Halloween and Christmas. They would have at least 200 people come by at Halloween and Chef Belton featured her Christmas tableau on his morning show. Her energy was boundless and was loved by all. She made friends wherever she went. She was a devout Catholic, who was a parishioner at St. Ann Church and Shrine. Pastor Fr. Billy O’Riordan will be celebrating the Mass. She was predeceased by her Mother, Catherine Roser Shall, her sister, Catherine Salles Fayard, her step brother, Hugh Shall, her former husband, Adam J. Ciuffi, and son-in-law, Bob Miller. She is survived by her loving, long time companion of 38 yrs. Gerald “Jay” Williams. Children, Juliette Wilson (Alton), Jean Miller, Wayne Ciuffi, Patsy duTreil(David). Her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Louis du Treil, Nicholas du Treil, Daniel Wilson(Valerie), Thomas Wilson X, Clare Wilson, Grace Wilson, Ginger Marie Miller. Others include Elise St. Pierre(Josiah), JoJo St. Pierre, Elijah St. Pierre, Christina W Brunet(James),Leslie W. Allemand, Megan Williams(Sean). Jackie was an extraordinary person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, located at 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006, on January 21, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Mass will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans.
