Jake Joseph Carnesi

Jake Joseph Carnesi passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, March 30, 2016. He was 82 years old. Beloved husband of the late Joycelyn Wilson Carnesi for over 60 years. Loving father of Scott Carnesi (Leslie) and Mark P. Carnesi (Billie). Grandfather of Jennifer Carnesi. Son of Jacob and Frances Carnesi. Brother of Joseph Peter Carnesi (Marie), Geraldine Hudson (the late Glynn), and the late Joyce Carline (the late John). Mr. Carnesi was a native of New Orleans, and has been a recent resident of Folsom. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during Korean Conflict. Jake retired as a technician from Facility Management Company, who maintained the air-conditioning system at the Superdome and was a member of the Local 60 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial visitation from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Monday morning, April 4, 2016 from 10:00 until 11:00.
