James A. Gaines, Jr., born March 24, 1960 died suddenly on April 25, 2011. Beloved husband of Patti L. Gaines. Beloved father of Aaron Gaines. Son of Edna L. Gaines and the late James A. Gaines, Sr. Brother of Cynthia Gaines. Stepfather of Bridgette Cabirac and Tierney Ricker. Grandfather of Scott, Amanda, Dustin, Ava, Julian, Sean, Baron, Maddie and Samantha. Also survived by 1 great grandchild, Emma. Also survived by his loving pet “Habbie”. Age 51 years. A native of Metairie, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, 1609 Carrollton Avenue, Metairie, La. 70005 on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 10:00 am with visitation at church after 9:00 am.
