Step - father of Debra A. Chartier.

Devoted grandfather of Lance Daly Gaulon Smith and Robert Smith.

Proud great-grandfather of Jordan.

Brother of Elliot Gaulon and the late Aristide Gaulon Jr.

Son of the late Dr. Aristide C. Gaulon and Elizabeth Daly Gaulon.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Gaulon was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a retired General Foreman with Avondale Shipyard after 30 years of service and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

Aged 83 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Metairie, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Friday afternoon May 9, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.

Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
