James Stephen Swift

James Stephen Swift, on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Born September 29, 1937 in New Orleans, resident of Harahan and Hessmer, Louisiana. Survived by beloved wife, Marlene Roy Swift and beloved daughter, Stephanie Cecile Swift, also beloved Dogs, P’Nut and JuneBug. Mr. Swift was a graduate of Warren Easton, Class of 1956. Retired Sergeant, JPSO, member of Masonic Lodge 102 and Shriners Int’l. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Rita Catholic Church, 7118 Jefferson Hwy, Harahan, on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 12:00 noon with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made in his name to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
