James David Wilson

James David Wilson passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2026. He was 85 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ormea Frey Wilson; daughters, Angela Wilson Duvernet and Niki Wilson Kelly; son, Darin Joseph Wilson, and daughter-in-law, Marina DiGiovanni Wilson. He was preceded in death by his son, John David Wilson. He was the proud grandfather of Bradley and Andrew Duvernet, Paige Wilson Drago, Shane and Vivian Kelly, and great-grandson, Caius Drago. James David was the son of the late Della Guillory Wilson and the late John Alden Wilson. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Patsy Wilson Sibly and Glenda Wilson Jones. He is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

James David was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he retired from the United States Postal Service where he served as a building engineer. His hobbies included ham radio communication and fishing. He loved listening to country music and had a particular fondness for bluegrass. He was a kind man, always willing to help his family and friends in any way he could. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
