Jane Peters

Jane Peters, age 78, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 5, 2015. Beloved wife of James “Pete” Peters of 60 years. Loving mother of Mickey Porter, Elizabeth Antin (Karl Morgan), Christopher Peters (Karen). Proud grandmother of Michael, Sean, Kenny, Whitney, Victoria, Josh, Andrew, Daniel, Amanda and Jimmy. Great grandmother of 10. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Jerome Catholic Church where she was a parishioner for 38 years. Jane’s devotion to her faith was very evident by her dedicated commitment to her parish where she was deeply involved in many church activities.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives, friends and associates of Winn-Dixie are invited to attend an Evening Visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Friday, October 9, 2015 a visitation at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 2400 33rd St. in Kenner are starting at 10:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
