Jane "Willie" Becton Salem passed away at Live Oak Village of Slidell Assisted Living on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 11:31 A.M. Beloved wife of the late Michelle G. Salem. Mother of Larry V. Currier and Linda Currier Angelica. Mother-in-law of Carol S. Currier. Sister of the late Vernie D'Angelo, Delmar Kelly, Mary Patterson and Agnes Fieldness. Grandmother of Richelle Currier Legnon, Gregory V. Currier, Traci Angelica Kimball and "Willie Jane". Great Grandmother "GG" of Emily, Jack, Davis, Ben, Harrison, Katie, Ellie, Spencer and Alexa. Daughter of the late Cager A. Becton and Zulia B. Becton.
A private service was held in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive on Saturday, December 8, 2012. At the request of the family, donations to St. Joseph Hospice - Northshore, 19500 Helenbirg Rd., Covington, LA. 70433 are preferred.
