ADD A MEMORY

June 14, 2012

There's alot I could say about this lady she was like a mother to me. Every summer I would go to Slidell and stay with the Spencer Family my second Family. I am so sorry for the loss of a great mom and grandmother and friend. I wish I would have been able to make it but she knows I was thinking about her. She will always be in my memories.

I thank God for blessing us with Maw-Maw Jeanne. I hope she knew how much she meant to us and our daughters. Not many would jump on board to help take care of new born twins;but she did.
She helped take care of them like they were hers. Maw-maw was there in the kitchen cooking or doing something around the house with the "crew"(Adam,Andrew,Ashley,Melissa,Michelle, Mia and Michala)following behind her. "She lives on", and will always live on in our hearts and in our memories.Much love and many prayers,The Brumfield Family (Cardell,Teresa,Mia,Michala)

Aunt Jeanne brought me 29 years of laughs and love and I miss her but know in my heart that she is in her glory with other love ones that have gone before her.

June 8, 2012

Jeanne Marie will truly be missed! Her laughter, her love for her family and her great sense of humor was a treasure to behold. It was a joy to spend an hour on the phone with her and caching up on family news, every few months.
I will cherish all those beautiful memories... she will always hold a special place in my heart!
Love,

My friendship with Jeanne goes all the way back to the early 1960's ... we attended the same high school. She was in my graduation class. What a wonderful person she was. Jeanne remained in contact with me for several years following graduation. I truly regret that we did not remain in contact. I suppose she became busy with Roy (also in my class) and raising a family. I moved away to Connecticut for several years and when I returned, I was unable to locate my friend. I always knew that Jeanne was a special woman ... but looking at those wonderful photographs reminds me about just how special she really was. I send my heartfelt condolences to her family.
