Joan Troncoso Allen

Joan Troncoso Allen, age 64, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 31, 2017 after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. Joan was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Jefferson, LA. Beloved mother of Timothy Leach (wife, Katie). Grandmother of Alexis Leach. Daughter of Joan Dorman Molero and the late G.A. (Lee) Troncoso. Sister of Walter P. Troncoso and Lisa Troncoso Keith. Aunt of Jamie Stitch and D.J. Keith. Great aunt of Leighton Stitch. Joan was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, was a retired supervisory revenue officer for the Internal Revenue Service and was an avid New Orleans Saints and New York Yankees Fan. Joan was affectionately nicknamed “Fruit Loop” by her many beloved friends. She never met a stranger, was very outgoing, full of life and had an infectious laugh. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Tuesday morning, January 9, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
