Joan Mary Tassin

Devoted wife of the late Henry George Tassin for 40 years. Loving mother of Paul H. Tassin (Colleen), Keith J. Tassin (Darlene), Barry J. Tassin (Amy), Brent D. Tassin and Mary Tassin Helmer (William).

Proud grandmother and great grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Phyllis Mae Walters Stephens and Francis Thomas Edward Stephens.

Sister of Nathaniel “John” Stephens and the late Donald F. Stephens and Betty Margaret Stephens Norville. She was also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Age 84, a native of Bristol, England , a current resident of Kenner, LA and previously of Covington, LA.

Mary was the co-founder and co-owner of Tassin Pile Driving Company. A member of the Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association, Crumpets and Crawdads, Les Papillion Sociaux and a parishioner of Divine Mercy in Kenner.
