A natural storyteller, John never missed an opportunity to share memories growing up in Gentilly, his time in the National Guard, or the 45 years he spent as a Press Operator at The Times Picayune. Whether the story was being told for the first time or the fiftieth, he always had more to share.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Frieda, and the love of his life, Joell Schumann Bacino. He is survived by his brother James, his daughters Melissa Bacino (Corey Treas) and Megan Bacino Marshall (Jonathan), as well as 5 grandchildren, Hailey, Ethan, Aiden, Evan and Josie.
After a lifetime spent telling his stories, he leaves behind a legacy of his own. The Story of John, one that will continue to live through all of those who loved him.
