John Stevens Branigan

John S. Branigan passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the age of 63. Devoted father of Tabitha Guidry (Darren) and Shannon Wilkerson (Josh). Loving grandfather of Kyleigh, Rylan, Kenley Raè, Kamden and Ainsley. Former husband of Phyllis Branigan. Son of Carmel Donovan Edwards and the late Hebert Branigan. Brother of Sandra Duplantis and Robert “Bobby” Branigan. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Kenner, LA. John retired after 34 years as a supervisor for the Jefferson Parish Engineering Department.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 5:30 PM until 9:30 PM and on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
