John William Koslick

John W. Koslick went to be with the Lord onTuesday, December 10, 2013, at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of Ann Berardinis Koslick for 67 years. He was the loving father of Linda Provance, Dr. Gerry “Red” Rick Koslick, and Karen Koslick. He was the son of the late Steve and Katherine Koslick. Loving grandfather of Dr. James Rizer (Jill), Jennifer Koslick, Michael Valerius, Ricky Koslick, Jessica Williams, Deena Provance and great grandson Dax Rizer. Preceded in death by grandson Gerry Provance.

John was a US Army veteran who served in Europe during World War II. He was proud to serve his country. He owned and managed Northside Market and was hard worker and known as one of the best meat cutters in Uniontown, PA. Upon retirement he relocated to Florida and was currently residing in the New Orleans area. He was a caring, loving man and will be deeply missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. with Visitation starting at 3:00 p.m
