John Andrew Logreco

John “Johnny” Andrew Logreco, on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, lost his courageous battle with cancer and passed away in his own style very quietly. He was born on June 21, 1946, in New Orleans. He was the son of the late Louise Nancy DiMaggio and Salvadore Victor Logreco. He was the brother of Lana Logreco Feehan (Russ) and the loving Uncle and best “Padna” of Ashton Feehan III (Amber). Johnny leaves behind his beloved wife, Noreen “Reenie” Waguespack Logreco, of 21 years. He also was stepfather of Amanda Thomas and Angela Guttuso. John was a 1965 graduate of Rugby Academy, and then attended Southeastern College. In September of 1970, he joined the Army National Guard of Louisiana for a period of six years. He was an Ammo Renovation Spec, Inspector III. John worked for the State of Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles for 28 years. Johnny was a loyal New Orleans Saints and Pelicans fan, loved golfing and going bowling with his nephew, Ashton. He also enjoyed country music, and loved traveling to the Smokey Mountains, in Tennessee, with his wife, Reenie. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006, on June 12, beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
