Johnny Gonzales Pons IV

He was born January 1, 1972, in New Orleans, LA, beloved husband of Rochelle Bowers Pons, loving father of Madison Elise Pons and Jonathan Andrew Pons. He is the beloved son of Deborah Ricker Raffo and the late Joseph George Raffo, and the late Johnny G. Pons, III. He is the beloved brother of Joseph John Raffo and the late Justin Andrew Raffo. He is the beloved son-in-law of Shirley S. and Joseph R. Bowers, III, brother-in-law of Kelley and Todd Perrien, and Joseph L. Bowers and the late Jason J. Bowers, uncle of Anthony J. Raffo, Zachary A. Perrien, Joseph J. Raffo and Isabella E. Bowers. He is the beloved grandson of John Peter Raffo and the late Margaret Coogan Raffo and the late Albert Andrew Ricker and Nancy Mammelli Ricker. He is also the grandson of Edna Hibbs Pons Rabalais and the late Johnny G. Pons, Jr. Johnny is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He graduated from Bonnabel High School, 1990. His love for football began at age 5 and continued throughout high school. He was a member of the 1988 International Championship Kenner Leprechauns football team. He loved fishing and hunting.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service/mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation from 10:00 A.M. until funeral time. Interment will be private.
