Jon Alan Woodbury, 55, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015. He was born June 13, 1959 in Hartford, Connecticut to Judy and Larry Bennett. Jon was a resident of Kenner, Louisiana for the past 8 years and Florida prior to that. Jon served in the Navy and was a Merchant Marine until his retirement. His many years on the sea contributed to his love of travel and the water, to which he always stayed close. He is survived by his son, Joseph Everard; his mother, Judy Bennett; three sisters, Gayle Taylor, Julie Nicoletti, and Jackie Chavez; one brother, Donald Woodbury; 5 nieces and nephews; and 3 great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Bennett. Jon was loved very much and will be greatly missed. Private services will be held at a later date.
