Jose Manuel Diaz, age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born September 16, 1940 in Ciego de Avila, Cuba. He is survived by his wife, Juana Diaz, his sons, Jorge Diaz and Carlos Alberto Diaz, his daughter, Marisol Gonzalez-Aguilar and his grandchildren, Ailenne, Yanet, Laura, Yinet and Cristian. Also survived by many other relatives and close friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
