I was so sorry to here about Joe. He sure was a mischievous fellow growing up around the neighborhood.Sure had some good times. He will truly be missed and my prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. May God bless.

  Lonie and I were so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I wish I had known about his passing before the services, we would have been there. I loved talking with Joe whenever I ran into him around town. Joe was the type of friend you could always pick up with as if you saw them yesterday, no matter how much time had passed. I remember when your family moved to Luling. Joe and I became instant friends. He was just that type of guy.

Hey Dude - you were standing by my bed at 5:00 A.M. today saying "it's time to get up Pop.  I said "no,it's still dark".  A little while later, you came back and, standing by my bed, you said "come on, get up"  So, I got up but then you weren't there.  But I know that you are still with me and I will always love and be there for you, K.K. and Meg-Meg.

Our prayers are with you. Joe was a funny and a great guy. He now has another job to do, but he's still with you.

It was a pleasure knowing Joe for the short period of time that I did. He was solely responsible for my choosing Orleans Shoring to elevate my home. He was professional, pleasant, accomodating and endearing. I am so sorry that I did not learn of his death until after the services because I surely would have attended. He was not just a the person who was having my house elevated, he was a genuine individual who I would like to have called friend. My prayers are with the family at this time.

Dear Daddy,

It feels like this is just a dream, wish i could wake up. you were my bestfriend, i told you everything. we shared stories no others would ever know. im very thankful to spend the last moments of your life with you, at your favorite place. (the beach). I feel like half of me is gone, i will never be the same again. just for you I have decided to make a bucket list. just for you I am going to go parasailing. its only been a week or so and i have so much to tell you, your not just a phone call away anymore. Wish you would have saw the courage i gained last night to speak at the service, only for you daddy. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Joe through Orleans Shoring and I must say that he was such a nice, honest guy-a God-send.  He understood and calmed my fears about housing issues/questions.  So ironic, I spoke with him on Wednesday or so and had an appt. to meet with him on Monday; however, I got a call on Sunday to cancel our appt., but was never told why. I wondered, but now I understand---Mr. Joe is in a better place.  He's with Our Lord and Saviour.
May his loving memories bring you peace and comfort.  Let go and let God direct your path.
