Loving father of Kathy Ann Soleto ( T.A.), Salvador Joseph Soleto ( Dawn), Phyllis Ann Soleto and the late Ralph Anthony Soleto.

Devoted grandfather of Joseph Soleto ( Roxie), Angela (Nathan) and Brandi (Craig).

Proud great-grandfather of Nathan, Sadie, Gizelle and Gabrielle .

Son of the late Josephine Gerage and Salvador Soleto.

Brother of Josephine Soleto Pellegrin , Catherine Soleto Chauvin , Salvador Soleto (Mary Ann) and Nicholas Soleto.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Joe was retired from American Can Co. after 37 years of service, loved hunting, fishing, country music and his beagles and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of River Ridge, Louisiana for the past 51 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Interment will be private.
