She was the wife of the late Emmett Medders. Mother of Dale Medders, David Medders, Dawn Dozier, Denise Corvers, Dwayne Medders Sr., Donald Medders, Debra Medders, Lillian Brumfield and the late Dennis Medders, Daniel Medders and Doss Medders. Sister of Raymond Guilmino Sr., Janice Klackle and the late Tay Guilmino. Daughter of the late Alcee and Lillian Guilmino. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Medders was a retired registered nurse with Charity Hospital, was a member of Jefferson Presbyterian Church and was an avid LSU fan. She was a very loving, devoted mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM with the Louisiana Nurse Honor Guard service at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
