On Monday, January 6, 2020, God called his son, Juan Francisco “Paco” Garcia to be by his side. Juan was 48 years old. He was a native of Tiquisate, Escuintla, Guatemala and has been a resident of the New Orleans area since 1991. Juan was the beloved husband of Gloria Archaga Garcia. Father of Andy F. Garcia. Stepfather of Tania Alegria, Gigi Alegria and the late Alex Alegria. Son of Dora Solis and the late Juan Garcia. Brother of Claudia Garcia, Tania Garcia, Daniel Garcia and Sara Solis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Juan played soccer for the Guatemalan Soccer Team. He will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2020 beginning at 4:00
