Judy Marie Chappetta passed from this earth on September 17, 2018, at the age of 54. She was born in New Orleans on February 19, 1964, the fifth of six children to Frank L. Chappetta and Dolores Landry Chappetta. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Dolores Chappetta. She is survived by her siblings: Kathy Chappetta Spiess, Karen Chappetta Wildenfels, Frank L. Chappetta Jr. (Lauri), June Chappetta Palozzola (David) and Toni Chappetta Fieramusca (Mike). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Thomas Burns (Anne) and Emily Wildenfels; Margaret, Nicholas, Alec, Andrew, Melanie, and Noah Chappetta; Dominic Palozzola, Zack and Sammie Herman; and by a great niece and nephew, Layla and Silas Burns. She also leaves behind the light of her life, her dog Zoey, whom she loved dearly.
Judy enjoyed painting and sketching. She had a lively personality and was always able to make everyone smile. There is no one with a bigger heart or a more giving soul than Judy. She was who she was and made no apologies for it. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 West Metairie, Metairie, La 70003.
