June S. DiZinno, affectionately known as “Junie”, was called home by our Savior on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the age of 90. Preceded in death by her loving husband, John A. DiZinno and her parents, Junius and Agnes Shepler. Mother of David DiZinno (Karen), Cynthia DiZinno and Gordon DiZinno (Kathy). Grandmother of: John (Amanda), Eric (Erin), Lori, Drew and Calvin DiZinno and Jenny St. Pierre (Paul). Great grandmother of: Julia and Meredith Galliano, Hayden, Anna, Sophie, Liam and Isabelle DiZinno. Junie was a resident of Jefferson, LA and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
