Justin Lavon Husley, born January 1st, 1988, passed away on Friday, September 18th, 2026, at the young age of 38. He was a lifelong resident of Metairie, Louisiana. He left behind many family members and friends who loved and adored him. Loving son of Connie D. Husley. Beloved and cherished brother of Samantha K. Husley Jones and brother-in-law Shaun P. Jones. Amazing and proud Uncle and Godfather to Evan P. Jones and Alexandra (Ali) D. Jones. Godfather to DJ Silva (son of Lesa). Justin was an avid gun enthusiast and collector, loved Superman, but not as much as his treasured Ford F-150 Raptor. He loved cooking, meal prepping, working out, working on cars, and hanging out with friends. He grew up playing baseball, soccer, running track, and football, and he even played for the Southeast Louisiana Football League. He was amazing to watch. He was a graduate of Ecole Classique, class of 2007. Despite his many good qualities, he also battled alcoholism that ultimately took over the last few years of his life. He fought so hard for as long as he could. But in the end, God knew he needed rest, so he was called home to be with his late grandparents, his idol and world, Alton L. Husley (Poppa) and Martha K. Butler Husley (loving Nana). He is at peace now, with his signature big, handsome smile, happy and healthy again.
