In Loving Memory of Karen Ann Lala

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Ann Lala on August 1, 2026.

Karen is survived by her beloved children, William Anthony Lala and Destahni Star Lala; her brother, Russell Lala; and her many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, William Ruiz; her mother, Margaret Edna Lala; her father, Ernest Russell Lala; and her sister, Tina Marie.

Karen’s life was one of both joy and hardship, but through it all she remained someone who loved deeply. She was a dreamer at heart, full of ideas, quick to see the good in others, and always hoping for brighter days. She found happiness in life’s simple moments, loved making others feel special, and treasured every moment spent with the people she loved.

Above all else, Karen was a mother. William and Destahni were the greatest joys of her life, and she loved them unconditionally. She never missed an opportunity to speak proudly of her children, sharing their pictures, telling their stories, and letting everyone know how much she loved them. Her love for her family was one of the truest reflections of who she was.

Karen faced many challenges throughout her life with courage and resilience. Though some burdens were heavy, they never diminished the love she had for her family or the kindness that remained in her heart. Those who knew and loved her choose to remember the woman she truly was—a loving mother, a compassionate soul, a dreamer, and someone whose heart was far greater than the burdens she carried.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in believing that Karen has finally found the peace she searched for throughout her life. She will be remembered for her love, her generous spirit, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
