Kathryn H. Kogos

Beloved mother and wife, she is survived by her, daughters Karyn Kogos Talbot, Katherine (Kat) Kogos, and son-in-law Michael Talbot Jr and is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Kogos.

Kathy loved to laugh with her daughters, travel with her family by way of cruises and European travel, listen to all types of music, have family dinners, watch Hallmark Christmas movies, sailing, go to the Beau Rivage Resort for concerts, snuggle with her dogs, reading books, and taking well-earned naps after retiring from working as an English Teacher for over 35 years in several schools in Metairie and Kenner including Bonnabel High School and Roosevelt Middle school.

Kathryn was also a wife of an Officer of the Mardi Gras Krewe, the Knights of Sparta, where she enjoyed spending time with her friends, and daughters who were also a part of the court for many years, and the season of Mardi Gras.

Kathryn is also survived by her sister Patricia Warden, brothers-in-law Charles Warden, Gerald and Donald Kogos, sisters-in-law Kitty Kogos, and Colleen Kogos. As well as several nieces and nephews, Nicole Kogos, Ryan Warden, Marnie Kogos, Christy Kogos Mayet and Jarred Kogos. She will also be missed by her 3 dogs, Delilah, Pamela, and Scrappy as well as her several friends and family members. We all love you mommy and will miss you but we know you are hanging out with daddy in Heaven.

A visitation for Kathryn will be held Friday, April 29, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana. Following the visitation will be a prayer service at 11:00 AM.
