I was so sorry to hear from Janet of Kay's death.  She was always the "Big Sister" to Janet and Julie.  Her family will always have the many great memories.  Cherish these, as they will often bring comfort when you especially need it.  I say this from experience.  She is now with God and watching over all of her family. I was so sorry to hear that Kay had passed.  Kay was a special person.  Kay and I and Janet and Mike Rivas used to play bridge together at their Alexander St. home many years ago.  Just a sweet, cordial and very persuasive person.  So kind to me for many years.  God bless her and her great family.

Kay was a wonderful friend to so many of us.  I was blessed to have her as a neighbor and friend for so long.  I will always remember knowing where I would spend the New Year, at Kay's! David and Cameron my thoughts and prayers are with you.  I met Kay 20 years ago and she came back in my life at Latter and Blum.  We had desk together many times and Cameron sat with us and played.  She was a great granmother and loved her grand kids.  Her pretty blue eyes will be missed.  I remember Wednesday last week we had a chance to sit in the computer room and talk about her kids moving out and living in her condo at Beau Chene. I told her that day she looked so pretty. I have so many wonderful memories of times spent with Kay that she will always be with me.  We did many things together over the years - going to plays, shopping, going on tour with work, playing cards and just talking about our families and lives.  I will always remember her laughing blue eyes and her love for her family.  My prayers are with her and for all of her family.

I met your mom and "GiGi" at Johnny and Joyce's.  We immediately found we had much in common. She was a wonderful person.  Always so full of life. She had a love for life most people wished they had at her age.  She was so proud of her grandchildren and was always bragging about them.  She will be sadly missed. I was sad to hear of Ms. Kay's passing.  I got to know her a few years ago when she selflessly took time out of her schedule to help care for my very ill mother.  She always asked to be on the "rotation" of caregivers and was such a blessing to me and my family.  I truly enjoyed spending time with her and will always be grateful for her compassion during that time.

I knew Kay as a grandmother bringing her grandson to Woodlake Elementary School.  She was so loving and wanted to do everything she could to help him.  I'm so sorry for your loss .

I am so-so saddened by the sudden passing of your Mom. She was always fun to be with when we were together. As my sister-in-law I renewed my friendshiip with her in recent years since Steven was over here. She visited a few times and brought that wonderful grandson,Cameron, over to play with my grandaughter Arden Duhon, Betsy's daughter. My condolences go out to you and your families, she loved you so. She was really a friend. I had hoped to get together with you and her during the holidays but they were very hard for me. 
I wish I could be with you at the funeral but because I am unable to rechedule my long overdue tests that day I'll be unable to be there. My spirit and love will be with you though. I am so sad to hear about the passing of Kay.  If it were possible, I would be there with you , but I live in Houston now and traveling is difficult for me.  My memories of Kay are very sweet and although, later in life I didn't get to see her as much but she was always held close in my heart. I will be praying for you and the family .  It hurts to lose such a wonderful member of the family. Take care and I know that God will be with you and with the children. Please know that I will be saying  lots of prayers for all of you . My memories of Kay from Ursuline High School are that she was always smiling, pretty and fun to be with. I left New Orleans after graduating so never kept up with high school friends much. Recently, I read Kay's post on Facebook. She had not changed except to have a wonderful life. Praying for all the family. God has another angel.
